“Nazgûl” Ranger’s Cloak

Inspired by Tolkien’s legendary black riders, the Nazgûl cloak is made from wool with a waterproofed nylon outer layer. Even when wet the wool will retain a great deal of its thermal properties, and the treated nylon provides camouflage and prevents moisture ingress from the outside. This moisture barrier along with the outstanding properties of wool keep the wearer warm and dry in even the dreariest of winter days. The cloak also serves to limit observability both visually and through thermal imaging, depending on the pattern used for the outer layer.

Nazgûl were once Men, but were corrupted by the Rings of Power. In exchange for their service to the Dark Lord Sauron, they are gifted with immortality and appear invisible to the naked eye. They are visible to mortals only by the grace of their terrifying black cloaks.
